Yes. Negotiator's Certification Course (NCC) is open to all.
Q) How Long will the NCC certificate valid ?
The latest updated from the Board, that the certificate valid until it used for the application of REN tag.

Q) How do I know whether the REN Tag is genuine?
A genuine REN tag contains a security feature in the form of watermark. When you scan the Quick Respond (QR code) using a smartphone, it will feature the real estate negotiators' information.
Q) I am new to the real estate industry. Can you explain the procedure to become real estate negotiator ?
Firstly, you must attend a 2-day NCC class in order to get the NCC certificate. Secondly, application for Registration need to be made by the Real Estate Firm with the following documents:-

Q) Who is real estate negotiator (REN) ?
A Real Estate Negotiator (REN) is an individual who is employed by a registered Estate Agent. They are not registered with the Board but certified to practice. They must attain the following requirements to be employed by the Real Estate firm;
They must attend a two-day course on Real Estate and will be issued a certificate of attendance. With the certificate, they can seek employment either on a 'Contract of Service' or 'Contract for Service' with a Real Estate firm. The Real Estate firm then will apply for the REN Tag with the BOVAEP.
BOVAEP will certify and designate a REN number & issue a tag to the REN. Only then can the REN be employed by the firm and represent sellers, landlords, buyers & tenants in the sale and marketing of properties.

Q) What is a REN Tag ?
REN Tag is an identification tag issued to a Real Estate Negotiator (REN). It contains all the information including name, photo, IC number, REN number, firm name, firm registration number, quick respond code (QR) and security features. It's mandatory that the tag be worn by the REN at all times during their conduct of business so that the public will be aware that they are dealing with registered negotiators.

Q) Is MAWA recognised by the Board to conduct the Registration of Real Estate Negotiators Course?
Yes. We has received the official approval and endorsement from the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia to conduct this course. All attendees of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance awarded by the Board and signed by the Board President. We are organising a series of 2 days Registration of Real Estate Negotiators Courses to facilitate this registration process.
